Is your BOSCH not working?
You might have the same issue like in this case. This happened to our client, and we found several problems with their hot water system that caused their BOSCH not working.
Have you got a BOSCH Hot Water System that wouldn’t light up?
Our client experienced this. Their unit was probably only 5-7 years old, was still looking good. But when we checked inside, the gland sleeve was leaking.
The gland sleeve is a part that separates the gas chamber from water chamber. It has two little screws that you take out to get the diaphragm out. But if water is leaking into it, it would make the screws rusty. When the gland sleeve is stuffed up, you can’t take diaphragm out when it needs service or replacement. Then you’ll need to get a new hot water system.
Prevention is better than cure!
So make sure this is not happening to your BOSCH before it’s too late. You can do that by opening the door and checking inside your Bosch hot water system every couple of months. In this video, we show you how to find the gland sleeve. You also need to service your BOSCH every TWO years like what the book says.
