Do you have a Bosch Hot Water System? When was the last time you got it checked?
It’s a good idea to open the door of your Bosch hot water system and have a look inside every couple of months. It’s really easy to do it yourself. It’ll only take a few minutes.
In this video, we’ll show you why it’s important to check your Bosch Hot Water System every couple of months.
What to check?
In between the gas and water chamber, there’s a part called Gland Sleeve. That’s the main part you need to check every couple of months, because it stops the water from leaking onto the gas chamber. If you get water into the gas chamber, you will be up for a new hot water system. That’s why this is important to keep an eye out for.
Sometimes it may not have entered the gas chamber yet, but when there’s water dripping onto the gland sleeve, over time it will stuff it up and it will need replacement. If you leave it for too long, you won’t be able to service the hot water system anymore (like in this case we show you in the video).
Here’s what you need to remember
- Open your HWS door to check the gland sleeve every couple of months
- Get your HWS serviced every TWO years
