How Do You Know You Need to Service Heater?

Do you need to service heater?

Do you have a portable gas heater and it’s not running as it should? That means you need to service heater.

Either it’s popping a little bit, its flame is really yellow, or it just has a bit of a musty smell. It means it needs a service.

It is good to service heater at least once a year.

If it’s plugged into power, most of the time it has a fan on it. When it’s cold outside, you might get your dogs and/or cats inside, and they will sit in front of the heater.

Now the fan that is on the bottom front of the heater will suck the cool air off the ground, warm it up, and blow it back out. This means it will also suck all the furs of your pets along with the dust, etc. So sometimes the fan, the flue, and everything inside the heater will be coated in dust.

You can call any licensed gas fitters to do the service, or you can give us a call.

If you live in the area, we will give you a beautiful service that involves:

• Picking the heater up in the morning or any time as arranged and take it to our facilities
• Cleaning it with air compressor, vacuum, and everything we need to give it a proper clean and service
• Testing it up to make sure it runs smoothly. We have bayonets with LPG and also natural gas

When we get it back to you, we will make sure it is all clean and serviced, and working properly, so you will have a nice warm room again.
